This quote inspired me to make a change in my life…
People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel they don’t deserve them, or that they will be unable to achieve them(…)Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself..
The Alchemist, Paul Coelho
Few things about me that you should know:
My name is Izabela, still twenty something Yogini, fitness and health freak, a wife, a dog owner, now living in Canada, Oakville Ontario. Thank you for stopping by.
I have more than few addictions, the most significant: coffee, nuts in all shape of form, reading&writing and yeah…Internet
I am a dog lover. I couldn’t live without one. She is my best friend and companion. Before buying a house I couldn’t have a dog in our rented apartment. The second day after moving to the new house we went to pick her up. I couldn’t be more happy at that point of my life.
Some weird facts that I realized about myself while writing this “About me” page:
– I have the ability to create a habit from everything I do…not a good thing…
– I can dance all night long.
– I won’t go to sleep with dishes in my sink.
– I am a collector of paintings and figures with ballerinas.
– I love art & architecture.
– I read a lot; after all literature was directly related to my major during my university studies. In particular I enjoyed The Golden Age of Russian literature and Naturalism in French literature. Now I read everything including health, yoga books and cookbooks!!!
– Things that relaxes me after a stressful day: taking a short drive in the evening around the neighborhood, looking at the lake or watching trains pass by.
– I love traveling. Place where I would love to live: Paris or New York!
I found Yoga for Life:
I am a Registered Yoga Instructor. Yoga transform my life, my career and taught me to give my best in each and every moment. It ‘s my professional and personal journey of self discovery and learning to know who I really am, brining mindfulness on and off the mat. I teach Hatha and Viynasa Flow, Pilates, Sculpt Yoga, Detox, Core Strengthening. I teach to what I see, fusing different styles of Yoga and fitness disciplines. I value Anusara’s Universal Principles of Alignment and appreciate how Ashtanga practice can balance physical and mental discipline with openness and ease. I continue to study and deepen my love affair with yoga no matter where I go:
And hope to provide inspiration, balance and joy to my students as they discover their own path.
Food – My culinary adventure:
I always liked to cooking but because I have lots of problems with my tummy (IBS), I couldn’t enjoy eating it. Recently I found I don’t have to stick with the traditional cuisine that my mom passed down to me,,, I can get creative with foods and spare myself the stomach aches. I am shifting my eating habits, exploring healthy foods, vegetarian/vegan/raw diets and enjoying the experimentation. Although my husband is still a meat eater and everyone else around me thinks that I am a weirdo, they actually enjoy these healthy meals as well … they just don’t want to say it out loud 😉
I will admit I am also a fitness freak. I need extra physical challenges to push myself and feel good.
I alternate my workouts between weight lifting and High Intensity Interval Trainings about 5-6 times per week.
Documents my life and changes that I am making to live healthy. I’ll share with you what challenged, inspired, touched, and nourished me. It is about transformation, healing, mindful eating and seeking happiness in the midst of everyday life. Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions or just want to chat with me at:
