Just eat an apple


I am on a big fruit craze right now. Every summer I am just craving fruits so today I wanted to share some recipes that include apples in your daily snacking.

 Apples have tons of antioxidants that are disease-fighting compounds; research says that apples can help with healing and lowering risk of Alzheimer, Parkinson’s, type 2 diabetes or cancer…

Apples are full of pectin, known as a soluble fiber (4g in one apple) that brings you lots of health benefits, such as: lowering cholesterol levels, detoxifying your liver, helping with IBS, curing constipation/diarrhea, boost your immune system and so on.

So why not to choose a simple solution for your optimum health. Especially thatan apple +PB combo is so tasty.

Good Morning Apple Smoothie:

1 apple, chopped and cored

3-4 dried pitted prunes

1 tsp of cinnamon

1 tsp cardamon

¼ tsp fresh ginger

1 Tbsp all natural Peanut butter (of course)

cup of almond milk or dairy milk of your choice

 Place all ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth

PB Apple rings

Cut an apple into rings, spread Pb and add some almonds on top.

 Apple Pie post workout snack

1 chopped apple

½ cup cottage cheese

1tsb Pb or Sunflower butter

1 tsp of cinnamon and some raisins

 Fist place a chopped apple into a bowl and microwave for 30-50 sec. until soft. Add other ingredients and enjoy your protein tasty snack

Fresh Apple juice is always a healthy choice. Mix it up a bit with a bunch of parsley or apples and carrots are always a great combination.
